Amanda and Will

Hi everyone, my name is Angela and I have the privilege of being a part of raising Will with Amanda, Jack, and Anthony. On January 8th, Amanda called me after Jack was rushed to the hospital with what was thought to be a mild stroke. On the way to the hospital, Jack coded and he was placed on life support upon arrival. Unfortunately, tests showed that Jack had a severe hemorrhagic stroke. Jack’s care is being overseen by the neurologists and nurses at United Hospital in the neuro ICU. Due to the extent of his brain damage, doctors did not perform surgery. They have confirmed that he is brain dead and have been running tests for organ donation. Right now, Jack’s care team is working hard to make him comfortable and he has been surrounded by his family and friends.

Amanda and Jack were neighbors during their childhood and reunited in 2018. At the time, Jack lived in Tennessee but he soon made the long trek back to Minnesota to start and build a life with Amanda and Will. He was Amanda’s rock and he took on a father role to Will. This is an unimaginable loss in every way. That is why I am asking for everyone’s help in raising $7,000 for them. Amanda and Will are having to begin a new chapter without this man by their side. With these donations, my wish is that Amanda will be able to grieve the loss of her parter and not worry about finances. Any amount will be immensely appreciated.
