Amanda's 1st yr. LMU Veterinary School Tuition
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Amanda Blowers and I have been accepted to Lincoln Memorial University School of Veterinary Medicine class of 2025 in Tennessee! This has been a life-long dream of mine, and I want to thank you for taking the time to hear my story and for helping me achieve my goals. Animals have always been a big part of my life, especially those in need of help. Take for instance, Sweetie, the cute black cat in the picture with me. She was a young feral cat that I captured for TNR. At the time she had no trust in people, but after breaking her leg and showing up at my doorstep at 3 AM, I had to help. After surgery to repair her leg, months of recovery, and a lot of socialization she has become a little snuggle bug and enjoys zooming across the house and being carried like a baby. This is just one of many stories that has helped me along the journey to become the compassionate, kind, and driven individual that will help me to be successful in my future endeavors.

Most people know veterinary school is expensive and that is not an understatement. Tuition alone over the four-year program is over $200,00 with $25,250 being due each fall and spring semester. Housing expenses, living expenses, rabies vaccines, PPD test, MMR titers, physical examinations, health insurance, and transportation will push overall expenses to almost $300,000 total over the next four years. Up to this point, I have been able to cover the cost of my associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees with scholarships, grants, and personal finances. However, now I am asking for the help of friends, family, and generous individuals to donate towards the cost of veterinary school. Any amount is greatly appreciated and I would love to answer any questions. Thank you in advance to all you contribute towards my goal as this would be a much more difficult road to travel without the support of all of you.
