Amanda Cannon's battle with cancer

Donation protected
Hi, Many of you know Amanda Cannon by her fun loving personality, her POSITIVE attitude, her will to help others and her loyalty to her friends and family. Amanda is the definition of strenghth, courage and persaverance.

Amanda's life turned upside down in June 2020, when she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, after finding a large mass in her breast. The treatment plan was to do 16 rounds of chemotherapy and a double mastectomy, followed by 12 rounds of radiation. Her treatment went exceptionally well with a few side effects.
In January Amanda received great news that her cancer was in fact in remission. Life was going extremely well for Amanda and she was feeling mostly back to normal.

March 2022 Amanda was experiencing severe chest pain and decided she needed to be seen in the ED. After several tests including a CT scan, she was told that her sternum was broken and three lesions were discovered. And the doctor determined the lesions were the cause of the fracture. After the ED doctor consulted with her oncologist, the plan was to let her return home and follow up the next day.
Amanda had a gut feeling the cancer had returned and in fact, she was right. During her appointment, the doctor told her the devastating news. "You have Carcinoma of the left breast metastatic to multiple sites". The Cancer traveled into her bones, and with that confirmation it was terminal. So, the questions arise, Now what?
Amanda was told the focus should be treating the pain and slowing the progression of the disease and recommended more chemotherapy. As many know cancer is extremely painful when it migrates into the bones. The treatment consisted of oral chemo every three months and routine PET scans. Things were stable for the first 7 months and it was discovered the chemo was doing the job that we all HOPED for.

In May Amanda had her routine PET scan and it was discovered the cancer spread into her spine and her BRAIN. More, devastation & more heartache. Amanda decided to continue with more radiation to relieve pain and to buy more time here. Knowing the prognosis would assumably remain the same and the disease could and will eventually progress.
She recently had another PET scan and will find out the results today (I will update).

Amanda just turned 40 and had many hopes and dreams. Life is so unfair and it's hard to understand why this occurs to the best of us. I am trying to take the financial stress away from Amanda. To allow her to maintain the best quality of life she possibly can. I am asking for prayers and or any amount of a donation to help her navigate thru this difficult time.
