Amanda Channel, A Mother, A Daughter, A Sister, A friend

Its a phone call you are never ready for even if you know to prepare yourself before those words are said. I never thought I would have to hear that my mom was hit by a car or that she didn't make it. I never thought I would have to make those calls wondering why, how did this happen, or what do I do now. On February 16th 2025 while on the sidewalk near the Denver rescue mission on 22nd and Lawrence my mom, Amanda was struck by a vehicle. Shortly after being transported to the hospital she passed away from the severity of her injuries. The money from this go fund me will be used to cover travel and other expenses for family.
