Amanda Dale Hammons Medical Fundraiser

This is my sister-in-law, Amanda she will be turning 39 in March.  Many of you know what an amazing single parent she is to her four awesome kids.  Her oldest, Mikahla is graduating from Wingate University this spring and going to continue on to get her masters.  Her second oldest, Katelyn is graduating from high school this spring and planning to attend Western Carolina University.  Michael is a junior in high school and Jacob a freshman.  
Amanda is scheduled for brain surgery for Chiari Malformation, Type 1.  Up to this point she has already had two MRI's and will be having her third one on January 22nd along with x-rays needed for surgery.  Amanda is hoping surgery will be on February 6th or the 13th.  The doctor stated that this has been happening for years and she just was not recognizing the symptoms.  She has weakness in all of her extremities but her right side is worse.  Amanda's brain stem is constricted and the pituitary gland is filled with CSF fluid which means neither are working properly.  The fluid is not surrounding the brain as it should be.  The doctor also stated that the gland is not working correctly and this is why her body is not metabolizing medicine. This explains why there isn't any medicine that can help her right now.  Her condition is also affecting her vision.  
Due to surgery Amanda will be out of work four to six weeks.  She does have short term disability, however, your donation  will help with some of the bills. I do NOT want Amanda to worry about her finances with the severity of her condition.  The medical bills alone, on top of the day to day expenses, is something she is extremely concerned about.  Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
