Amanda Long after double mastectomy

Hi, our names are Katherine and Brandi and we are starting this fundraiser for our friend Amanda. After surviving a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer, which resulted in many surgeries, and an eventual amputation, Amanda has spent the last two decades conquering obstacles and challenges that most wont face in a lifetime. She is a strong, fearless & determined mother of one sweet 12 year old boy. This summer, our fearless Amanda was challenged again to face another form of cancer. This time, a double mastectomy and chemo lie ahead of her.

We are creating this go-fund-me to rally behind our friend Amanda and her son, Ben. We hope to give them a chance to see this cancer diagnosis as a minor inconvenience on their road to maintaining a normal life. She will use our donations to carry her a-float through months of time off work, medical bills & daily expenditures. The goal is to keep the financial burden off of her shoulders so she can begin to heal her body and rest her mind. With help from you - her friends, family and community, we believe this is possible!
