Amanda Lynn Frisbee

In the early morning hours of August 14th, 2023 Amanda was walking down a residential street, one she grew up on, where she felt safe and secure. She left home that morning simply to get a drink at the nearby convenience store when a reckless driver came down that residential street going at very excessive speeds. Due to this, Amanda was struck by the oncoming vehicle with no time to move. The driver of the car was caught on camera speeding towards her direction, turning around with his vehicle now showing visible damage and speeding away. This person left her there and did not call for help or notify anyone of what he had done. Amanda was a very loving, kind, and full of life person, if she could help she would allways try especially for her children and her grandchildren. They will never be the same due to this and her grandchildren will never understand why their grandmother cannot come see them anymore. This was a completly avoidable incident if the driver had simply been going the speed limit, or at the very least close to it. The only solace we can find at this point is that it was instant with no time for her to feel pain. We are now planning a funeral instead of family events and the hole that this has left in our family is immeasurable. We are currently trying to make arrangements to have her buried close to her mother as well as get her a headstone, and help cover any exspenses that her loving husband and children will need to cover.
