Amanda Martin: A Beautiful Life, A Beautiful Soul

Yesterday, January 17th 2021, myself, Amanda, her boyfriend Sean, and Mat  were hiking at Harper’s Ferry when at  3:10 pm, a horrible accident took place and Amanda was struck by a tree that had come down unexpectedly. My fiancé Mathew Stratta, an EMT and firefighter for Montgomery County, did everything he could to try and save her until an ALS unit arrived. Once they were on scene they also did everything they could to try and save her life. She was an amazing, kind, loving, beautiful person whose life ended too soon.
