Amanda Martin Medical and Memorial Fund

Hello this is Amanda Martin’s family and we are raising money for Amanda after her unexpected passing. 

Last month Amanda had some facial numbness. This got worse and began affecting her eye and causing her pain and frustration. As doctors tried to make a diagnosis Amanda continued to get worse requiring hospitalization and lots of testing. Amanda eventually required dialysis and was finally given the diagnosis of Burkitts Lymphoma which is a rare and aggressive Lymphoma. Chemotherapy was started but Amanda continued to get worse and have medical setbacks including organ failures and infection. Amanda fought very hard but unfortunately passed away peacefully  on 8/10/21 surrounded by her loved ones.

Unfortunately, during half of this battle, Amanda was without health insurance due to switching jobs shortly before the illness started. We are expecting thousands of dollars in medical bills . We also have the financial burden of a funeral for Amanda.

Many have asked to help Amanda and our family and this is a way that Amanda can be remembered. We will take any leftover donations and will be making a charity donation in Amanda’s name or starting a scholarship to honor her.
