Amanda Nicole Magenheim

Amanda was an amazing, bright, funny, witty young woman with the world ahead of her and I was proud to call her my cousin. She recently turned 21 on October 19th and was excited to continue her education at Penn State University studying to be an occupational therapist. While at school on January 10th, 2024 she suffered from a severe asthma attack that resulted in her being deprived of oxygen. The rescue team worked extremely hard to revive her but after 40 minutes without oxygen, Amanda was left with minimal brain activity and a poor prognosis. On Friday, January 12, 2024 Amanda passed away surrounded by her family and friends. I am hoping to raise money to help my Aunt and their family pay for funeral costs and medical expenses. This has been a traumatic event for our family and we are still trying to process this devastating and unexpected loss. We appreciate any help and support to aid in the healing process for my aunt and her family. The thing I will remember most about her was her funny personality and bright smile. No matter what the situation was she could find humor in it. Her ability to bring laughter into my life was effortless and I will forever miss her.
