My younger sister Amanda Paravinja (Garton) was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, just 5 months after the birth of her second healthy baby. As we all know Amanda is a bad ass. As soon as she was diagnosed, she was in the hospital within a few days to get a chemo treatment planned and started them the following week. As of June, 25 2020, she has already had two chemo treatments, with 16 remaining. I wanted this gofund me to be able to assist them in the payments for treatments and test for what insurance does not cover. Chemo takes a toll on the body, and it isn’t uncommon for patients to end up in the ER days after therapy. It is fortunate they detected it early as they did. There is still a long road ahead, but she has a tremendous support system, and if you’re reading this you know as well as I do. Any bit will help as I stated to cover any residual fees insurance doesn’t cost (Dr. Appointments, ER, meds, etc.) We will continue to update everyone on the progress she makes in her fight at whooping cancers ass!
