In loving memory of Amanda Sweeney

Hi my name is Ashley and I am the fiancé of Lizzie and It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and peaceful passing of Amanda Sweeney on Thursday, 10th April 2025.

Amanda was a devoted mother to four daughters. Her youngest, Madison, is just 16 years old and has now heartbreakingly lost her only parent. This tragic loss has left the girls not only grieving deeply, but also facing the heavy financial burden of arranging their mother’s funeral.

To make matters even more heartbreaking, Amanda’s three eldest daughters lost their father just 11 months ago, and only recently finished paying for his funeral. He was just 50 years old when he passed. Now, less than a year later, they are faced with the unimaginable — saying goodbye to both parents in such a short span of time.

Amanda had an over-50s funeral plan in place, but it did not pay out as she passed within the twelve-month qualifying period. As a result, her daughters have been left to cover all funeral expenses themselves, during a time of immense grief.

We are raising funds to:

• Help cover Amanda’s funeral costs.

• Provide ongoing support for her youngest daughter, Madison, as she faces an uncertain future without her mum.
