Amanda & Oesen in memory of Brent Wery

As a family we are beyond devasted, Fred von Oesen and Leslie Ashby's youngest daughter Amanda von Oesen has lost the love of her life on Sunday in a tragic accident when Brent’s vehicle was struck by a train. Brent Wery was only 42 years old and the most giving human being we have ever met, a volunteer Firefighter in Richer, Manitoba and a local Councillor in addition to his full-time job at Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre.

Amanda and Brent welcomed their son Oesen Theodore Wery this past summer and were looking forward to getting married and raising their son together. Sadly Amanda has lost her fiancé and Oesen who is not even 6-months old has lost his father to an unbearable tragedy.

Brent had not had time to complete a new a will yet, Oesen is now left without a father and Amanda is forced to deal not only with this horrible loss but the legal and financial ramifications of his death alone. And, while her family will do everything possible to get her through this, Amanda and Brent both thought that they had a lifetime together to prepare for Oesen’s future. Any help you can provide Amanda and Oesen will be forever appreciated.
