Amanda Wallace Cancer Treatment and Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Our dear sister and best friend, Amanda Jenece Wallace was diagnosed with Stage 3c Ovarian Cancer earlier this month.
After months of going to the doctor with symptoms of abdominal pain, loss of appetite, and fatigue, she was referred to an oncologist. Various scans, and blood test were done and it was then revealed that she acquired Stage III ovarian cancer.
Having cancer is a difficult experience physically and emotionally. Maybe someone in your family, a friend, a neighbor, or even social media acquaintance has had a battle of their own with cancer. We can all testify in some way that cancer sucks.
As a result of her diagnosis, Amanda must start Chemotherapy. She will be undergoing six rounds of chemotherapy and then a debulking operation.
At the young age of 29 this is most certainly a life changer. Amanda is a former Miss Teen Missouri and recently graduated from Austin Peay University with a degree in Social Work. She loves to volunteer her time in the community helping to mentor younger women and girls.
Being young myself, it is hard to cope with certain realities of the treatment, hysterectomy, loss of hair, and infertility. Positivity is a key factor, and we must focus on the future. Amanda did not choose this journey, however, she is ready to conquer this battle with her faith in God, your prayers, love, and support.
We are setting this fundraiser to help Amanda both with medical expenses, and any personal expense that may arise during the time of her treatment.
The money donated will be spent in helping her make any payments needed in order to get the treatment she needs, excess treatment insurance does not cover and prescription meds.
In addition, your donation will also help in paying some of her personal expenses during her time of recovery. Because Amanda lives independently, our hopes are to help her maintain her bills during her time off of work for recovery.
We greatly appreciate any help and support from a donation and/or reposting her story.
