Amanda Runs for Planned Parenthood

My name is Amanda Gallop and on Sunday, April 9th 2017, I am running my first marathon.

This has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl, and I am ready to accept the challenge ahead of me. I know it won't be easy, but I am not in this race alone. I am running for Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood delivers "vital reproductive health, sex education to millions of women, men, and young people worldwide." They serve as an invaluable resource to people of all backgrounds, and believe in giving everyone a chance at taking ownership of their health. 

I am running with Planned Parenthood, because I believe in their mission, I believe that they are the advocates we need for progress, and I most certainly believe in their fight for health and wellness of all members of the community.

Your donations will go directly towards helping the Planned Parenthood Federation of America continue to provide healthcare to people regardless of their socioeconomic background. 

I am looking to raise my goal of $3,000 by April 9th, the day of the marathon. 

This marathon journey will be exhausting, and there will be times when I want to give up, but I am continuing the fight for the men, women, and children who have taught me that resilience is no easy feat, that Planned Parenthood will stand by you through thick and thin.
