Amanda's Cancer Journey
Donation protected
If you're reading this you may already know Amanda, know this family, or know of this current difficult phase and journey she is embarking on and if not, please continue reading because they need all the support they can get. Amanda is a wonderful mother, wife, sister, daughter, niece, aunt, cousin, friend, sonographer, and much more to so many people in her life. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer as well as the BRCA gene mutation and made the difficult decision to undergo a double mastectomy in January 2022. However, further scans determined that due to her high risk of metastatic cancer reoccurrence she will now need chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and will also need her ovaries removed. She will begin her first round of chemotherapy on February 14th and will continue bi-weekly and weekly after that.
As you can imagine, the toll that this will take not only on her, but on those around her there to provide support including her husband and children will be tremendous. I know the power that something like this can hold, so please help make this taxing stage a little more bearable for this incredible family by aiding in relieving some of their financial stress.
Encouraging messages welcome and appreciated!
