Amanda's Cancer Treatment Fundraiser

As many of you know, Amanda, was diagnosed a year and a half ago with breast cancer. We appreciate everyone who has been keeping her in your thoughts and prayers. Unfortunately, we have received some additional news and want to update everyone.

After seeking medical attention for increased pain, Amanda’s physicians have completed some additional tests that show her cancer has now progressed to Stage IV and has metastasized throughout her lymph nodes and liver. Additionally, the original tumor has grown and has caused significant increases in pain to the point she is now unable to work and complete many day-to-day activities. At this time, she has no medical insurance and as a result, this will decrease her treatment options until funds are available.

Amanda is in consultation with her physicians for the next steps. This would likely include chemotherapy, antibody therapy, and surgery, depending on the remaining test results. As she undergoes these new treatments, we want her focus to be on fighting and not the expenses associated with her diagnosis.

This Go-Fund-Me campaign has been started to help Amanda with the many expenses she is facing in the coming months because of this diagnosis.
