Help support Amanda with her GPA diagnosis

Laying my heart out here so bare with me!

my name is Gareth and I’m Amanda’s husband and I really need your help to raise some funds for Amanda.

as you may or may not know Amanda and I tried for many years for a child and when our dreams came true of a beautiful boy Amanda’s nightmare began! .. Amanda starting suffering with strange symptoms and lots of pain after childbirth. She would suffer with headaches 24/7 several occasions she couldn’t move her legs, her sinuses broke down and then they found lung masses and was told it could be cancer . After several tests and hospital admissions it took the doctors 15 months to diagnose Amanda with Vasculitis GPA with lung and Sinus involvement. She also suffers from subglottic stenosis where her windpipe will close up and she needs an OP asap when this happens. This has happened 3 times so far in 6 monthly intervals. This is a life limiting disease and can attack another organ at any time.

this has taken a real toll on Amanda with her mental health and well-being and financial loss. Even though Amanda is going through such a terrible time she still tries to smile everyday and work and live her life.! She is an inspiration and I don’t know if I could be that strong holding down a job , looking after a toddler and having intense treatments (chemo/immunotherapy) and surgeries.

unfortunately Amanda is not in remission as yet but doctors are trying everything they can to get Amanda better! 

this is such a rare disease it’s taken doctors longer than usual. Amanda is 33 and is wanting to fight this for her son and family.

Amanda and I have suffered great financially loss due to illness and hospital visits. Amanda and I also had to cancel a holiday we had booked for our son and the holiday would not refund us the £1600 even though we had given them a consultant letter with the importance of the Operation Amanda was having. It was life changing surgery! Amanda worked so hard to save this money to take her son abroad but unfortunately her dreams were shattered and money lost.

This women is my world and I would do anything for her but unfortunately I need your help!!
