Amanda's Long Journey to come home

Hello my name is Jason Whitt my wife Amanda went into the hospital November 23rd 2021 with a infection that spread onto her kidneys, lungs she was admitted to ICU on the the next day and on Friday the 26th the doctor at Carteret General told us we should let her make her peace with God we refused to believe that so she was transported to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville NC, 2 hrs from home she has been here since November 27th and has endured so many battles she has actually coded 2 times in that stretch but has fought back each time, now her Gallbladder has ruptured on top of all the other ailments, she is doing alittle better as of January 5th 2022 she has a tracheotomy in to help her breathing, and is on dialysis, she started her job at Craven County DSS in September of 2021 so she doesn't qualify for FMLA and we have only my income now which is not as much considering I cannot work a bunch do to her state , we were lucky to have some money saved up but as you can imagine a month and a half of hospital visits and traveling quickly depletes funds! Our daughter Makenzie just applied to North Carolina State and ECU, and Graduates High School in June 2022 my hope is Amanda can be home to watch our baby get her diploma, for people who know me this is the hardest thing for me to do is ask for help we went through 2015- 2018 with Amanda's Cancer battle and never asked for anything but prayers but honestly that took us 2 years to recover from financially it was a long road, but please believe we also take prayers not just financial assistance we just want our Mother/ Wife home with us she is very special to me and Makenzie ❤ Thank you and #godismystrength
