Amanda’s Ovarian Cancer Fight

Hi, I am Arianna Santos! I am Amanda’s little sister and would like to help my sister fundraise for any expenses she has made and will continue to make in the future for her cancer treatment.

Her Story: She was diagnosed at 27 yrs old (now 28) with stage 2B Ovarian Cancer in early June. In early May, she admitted herself to the ER due to right side pelvic pain. She found out she had ovarian cysts the size of lemons that were causing the pain. In June, she had the cyst removal surgery. She wakes up to find out that her right ovary and fallopian tube were also removed for looking unhealthy. She comes to find out that there was a tumor in the ovary and polyps found on the back of her uterus. The testing came back cancerous and she got her diagnosis.

In early July, she had a full hysterectomy and have been recovering from that. At the end of July, she had her first chemo session and is two sessions down out of six. Each day I am witness to how brave and strong Amanda is. Even on her bad days, I see her trying her best.

My goal is to do what I can to help support her while she is battling this disease. Anything helps and all of your support is appreciated.
