My sister, Amanda Garza has been a truck driver for a few years now. For so long it had been Amanda's dream to become a truck driver delivering food and goods benefiting the U.S. consumer like you and me. Unfortunately, our present-day economy has taken such a hit and is affecting truck drivers everywhere starting with gas prices. Amanda currently leases a costly truck to run her business but is now only making enough to pay her truck payment and nothing else. I believe in my sister's dream, a single woman, trying to make a better life. She is one of the most generous people I know. For those who believe in her, and even those who don't but simply want to impact someone's life, I invite you to give toward the fundraiser for her to purchase her own truck. This would be much cheaper for her making it more reasonable to continue truck driving without the skyrocketing leasing fees.
