My name is Keating and I have had the great opportunity to travel to Tanzania to volunteer with children in the Dar es Salaam area. Last Wednesday I visited the Amani Orphanage Centre and met these 5 incredible children who need our help to enroll in school. In nursery school, children will learn basic English, math, reading, and writing skills. These kids must attend two years of paid nursery school before graduating to English taught primary school. After these two critical years of education, they will graduate to Primary school, which is free in Tanzania.
On Wednesday, we went over the English alphabet, colors, numbers, emotions, read stories, and did songs and dances. These children are eager to learn but do not have a family to support their education. Please consider making a donation to help these children.
