Amara's Law School Journey

Hi everyone!
I was recently accepted into Widener University - Delaware Law School located in Wilmington, Delaware. I also recently had a baby who just turned 4 months. It has been my dream for quite some time now to attend law school. I currently work full time at a law firm and will continue to work there through school to support my son and me. I currently live on my own with my son Caiden. Many may or may not know but law school is very expensive. On top of the expenses, it is very rigorous. Most if not all schools recommend to not even work because law school is a full-time job on its own. I've worked very hard to get to where I am at, and I am determined to see this through until the very end. Because I work full-time and have a baby, I have to attend school part time (4 years instead of 3). School alone is a 45-minute drive there and back at night. Part-time tuition for my school is about $42,670 per year. I was lucky enough to receive a scholarship of $14,000 and received a federal loan of $20,500. Even with that help I am still shy, approximately $8,100. Along with tuition, books and school supplies are costly as well. With 4 classes books alone can cost about $1200. I have applied for scholarship after scholarship. I cannot take out any more loans and working a second job during the school year is just not feasible if I want to maintain my grades. I am continuously working towards paying tuition and books; however, I am asking for any help I can get. I feel this is the best way to reach my family, friends and peers! I am grateful for any donations. Every and anything I receive will be paid towards tuition and books.
