Amaya for All American Goddess

I'm trying to capture a dream and a little more confidence in myself as an entertainer by competing in this year's Miss All American Goddess at-large. As many of you know I have won a national title, miss continental plus 2005,however you might not  know the difficulties I had during my reign with my health. I was diagnosed with hydrocephalus at five months old Which became a life and death situation in 2003 and between 2003 and 2006 I received 13 surgical procedures to my brain to release the pressure and drain the fluid . I don't feel that I really got the chance to experience life as a national title holder due to my illness. All Anerican Goddess At-Large is something that is in my heart and something that I have been watching from a distance from its conception. My wish was to one day have my health back so that I could compete For Miss All Anerican Goddess At-Large. Well the time has come ! I've been two years with no problems and ready to take a swing at pageantry again. From the age of 17 all I wanted to do was be a beauty queen and what better way to be a beauty queen then to also be a goddess .
