Gregory's Battle with Leukemia
Donation protected
Gregory Samiter was a hardworking, strong, rarely sick provider for his family his entire life. This amazing dad and husband has supported his 3 children, 2 grandchildren, and wife his entire life.
JUNE 2022, Gregory was diagnosed with Leukemia.
OCTOBER 2022 Gregory had a Bone Marrow Transplant.
When he should have been getting better, getting back on his feet, instead he got worse. Infection after Infection, catching Covid in the hospital, throwing him into tachycardia, setting him back, just as his family thought his numbers were stabilizing, another infection would hit him, with over 100 pounds lost fighting for his life.
Losing weight, not being able to walk on his own, not being able to eat, it has been quite the ordeal for Gregory and his family. He has been strong, trying so hard to be resilient has tried to do things on his own, which has set him back with 2 falls within a short time home from the hospital.
A man who always helped his family, and provided for his family, now has the burden of worrying why his medications are not being covered by his insurance. Natasha and Gregory are almost depleted using their retirement funds that they worked so hard saving. Natasha has been taking care of her husband full time, praying for him to get back on his feet.
20 medications DAILY, needing IV at home, numbers dropping and hit again and again with infections because his immune system is so weak, has been very hard on this beautiful family.
I kindly ask, if it be a small donation or a large one, please help this family take care of their dad, their papa, and their grandpa, the same way he has ALWAYS taken care of them.
