Amazing Grace- Help Kim Heal

Thank you for taking the time to read our story.  My Mom (Kim DeGarmo) is in need of your help.  There is no easy way to share this story but on February 16, 2019,  attempted to take her life by shooting herself.  She is currently in the hospital in Tennessee where she and my Dad live.    By the grace of God, she is ALIVE!!! Also, she does not have brain damage, she can see, and she can hear.  However, because her injuries are to her face, she will need extensive facial reconstruction surgeries.  These surgeries cannot take place at the hospital she is in at this time.  She will be traveling to another hospital in Nashville, Cleveland, or NYC.  As I am sure you can understand that with this situation comes a lot of need for assistance.    

We are asking for thoughts and prayers for her and her family as we continue this long and hard journey.  She is in need of help with uninsured medical costs, traveling funds, and everyday needs for the family.   She will also need medical equipment for her food pump and tracheostomy care as well any other unforeseen care/costs.  Anything that you can help with is so appreciated and we all thank you very much.

The need for these funds are immediate as I'm sure you can understand.

Please know that despite the desperate choice that my Mom made...She wants to live.  She realizes that God is amazing and she is grateful to be alive!!!  Which is something that we are all very thankful for.
