Amazing Students with Intellectual Abilities

Hello,

My name is André Jones, the older brother of Melia Angelic Jones, better known as "MJ." MJ was taken from us in the worst way possible. She was only 23 years young when she was sexually assaulted and killed in her own apartment, only to be found a couple of days later.

MJ was a kind and gentle soul who loved to sing, dance and enjoy life to the fullest. In her young adult life, MJ went to school at the Pulley Career in Alexandria, VA where she made many friends and lasting memories. During her time at the Pulley Center, MJ was offered a job at Ronald Reagan Airport in DC as well as housekeeping duties at a nearby hotel. She excelled at both of these positions earning her multiple "Employee of the Month" awards.

Sadly the covid virus took effect and MJ was laid off but she never gave up on looking for other jobs.

This award/scholarship is for an exceptional student with special needs who displays compassion, kindness, and perseverance. This scholarship money will be presented to the Pulley Career Center in Alexandria, Virginia to be gifted to a spectacular student who displays these great qualities to further their education.

MJ Forever!
