Amazon meets Australia

Hello, my name is Pitiuruk. I am from the Amazon of Puyo, Pastaza, in Ecuador. I am a 24 year old with my heritage being of the Indigenous Kichwa culture.

As a young indigenous person in South America, it is important to teach, learn and share with indigenous people in other countries to preserve our cultures and connect our struggles.

It is my desire to first travel to Australia (where my partner Jordan lives), to establish myself to prepare for what I hope will be a great adventure around the continent discovering and understanding the rich indigenous culture and the beautiful places that are very different from what I know here in Ecuador.

I would like to do a cultural exchange with Australia and bring a message from our Amazon. It is important that the world is educated about the issues and I am educated about the world outside what I have grown up knowing. With your support, I can be the youngest in my family to leave my country.

We are also a new generation and we are aware of how things work on another continent but living in a country without a good economy makes it seem impossible to discover the world.

It is my big dream to travel, and with your support I would love to document my experiences for the first time in everything (first time at the airport, plane, trying different food, practicing a different language and much more than I can imagine).

With your help, I can make my distant dream a much nearer reality. Not only to continue the love story with my long distance relationship and to be reunited again , but to discover a world I so eagerly want to experience. Funds will be used to cover three months worth of expenses in Australia, a return plane ticket, food, transportation, domestic travel within Australia, and the costs associated with obtaining a tourist visa.

I’d love to share this journey with you as I plan to embark on the adventure of a lifetime, discovering everything I’ve heard so much about for years. I’d love to share my entire experience with you, and appreciate any support, even if it’s just a share or comment on my content, it means more than you know.

Hola, mi nombre es Pitiuruk soy de la amazonía de Puyo, Pastaza, Ecuador. Tengo 24 años de edad soy un joven indígena de la cultura Kichwa que desde muy pequeño he tenido grandes sueños.

Como un joven indígena en Sudamérica, es importante enseñar, aprender y compartir con los pueblos indigenas en otros países para preserva nuestra culturas y conectar nuestros luchas.

Es mi micción para primer viajar a Australia (donde vive mi pareja, Jordan), establecerme para prepararme para lo que espero una gran aventura alrededor del continente descubriendo y comprendiendo la rica cultura indígena y los hermosos lugares que son muy diferentes que yo conozco aquí en ecuador.

Me gustaría hacer intercambio cultural con Australia y llevar un mensaje de nuestra amazonía. Es importante que el mundo es educado sobre los temas y estoy educado sobre el mundo. con su apoyo de ustedes yo puedo ser el mas joven de mi familia para salir de mi país.

También somos nueva generación y somos consciente como funcionar cosas en otro continente pero vivir en un país sin una buena economía haces que parezca imposible descubrir el mundo.

Es mi gran sueno para viajar y con tu apoyo yo quiero documentarmis mis experiencias por primera ves por todo (primera ves en aeropuerto, avión, probar diferente comida, practicar una diferente idioma y mucho mas que yo puedo imaginar)
