Amber Brown Fundraiser

It’s with great relief that I write this morning Amber has been transferred to Toronto General last night after being in Peterborough hospital for over a week. She will be placed on the emergency transplant list for her second DOUBLE LUNG TRANSPLANT as soon as possible. She has been actively rejecting her first set and developed a collapsed lung this week and her condition rapidly declined over the last few days.

We had hoped to have a benefit for her in person however that is no longer possible before hand. As some of you may remember this is a long process and takes Amber far from her family and friends for a long period of time. Ted her partner of 30 years is by her side through thick and thin. This takes him away from his work and causes the family financial hardships which should be the last of their concerns at this point. This is why I am reaching out to all my family and friends to help support in this ongoing challenging time.
