Amber Duncan-Mclean

Hi, my name is Dave. Amber's ex-partner, but best friend. We lived together and were raising 3 amazing kids: Tobi (13), Bray (7) and Bowie (5).

Amber suddenly passed away on Tuesday September 17th at the young, young age of 33. The kids have lost the best Mum they could have ever asked for, and I have lost my best friend.

If you knew Amber, you knew how infectious her personality was. Her smile lit up rooms, and her laugh was contagious. She was the most selfless person I have ever met. Just an incredible human, and even better Mother. She loved her kids more than life itself. She was so proud of every accomplishment each one of them hit, and would let them know that too. She loved her family in Australia (Terry, Sean, Laura, Dave & so many more) more than anything, Roch, her boyfriend Daniel, and all of the friends she made along the way.

I was hesitant to start a GoFundMe, but have been convinced to do so. Amber was the primary income earner in the household, as I am a stay at home Dad. So even though finances shouldn't have to be worried about in times like this, they unfortunately have to be.

As we navigate life going forward, I'm asking even for the smallest bit of help towards Amber's Memorial service/funeral, smart clothing, food shopping, even rent and daily life costs as I try and figure out if we can stay in our current home, and if we are even able to receive an income.
