About 28 years ago, I walked into a place called Russell Street. Scared, alone and tired of drinking. I couldn't get sober on my own. I met Kathi, a woman who would become a friend, and she welcomed me as I was.

As many of you know, Kathi lost a daughter and Josh and Georgia a mother. I've texted Kathi, offering my prayers. I finally asked. What can I do?

Her wish was that she couldn't do a fund me. It wasn't in her. I said if I posted would it be OK? She has given her blessing.

I've thought much of Amber the last two days. She was a bright spot in my and Sherri's life and our home. My wife Sherri shined like a beauty queen on our wedding day because of Amber. We will always be grateful.

So today, I'm asking all of you that Amber has touched to help defray the cost of Ambers's funeral expenses and help Josh and Georgia to have some comfort in the love we can send. I knew that she touched many souls throughout her life. She made us guys handsome and gals beautiful. Her smile was infectious, and you always laughed being with her.

Please give what you can for Kathi, Josh and Georgia.

They will be very grateful for your love.
