Amber is fighting breast cancer

Amber has breast cancer. She received confirmation the day before Thanksgiving. Amber is strong and will beat this. She is a caring and giving person. She has dedicated her life to help others. She works for the VA, Veterans Administration, working with Veterans and Active duty military members that have TBI, traumatic brain injuries. With her diagnosis of breast cancer she will start chemotherapy after the first of the year, 2021. One reason for the delay is that her insurance would require her to pay the deductible for 2020 and then again for 2021. She will have to pay at leat $5,500 out of pocket before her insurance pays out to cover these treatments. She also will have many co-pays and other costs. She will miss a lot of work, which means using her sick leave and her personal vacation time. She may have to take leave without pay. This campaign will help her pay for these unforseen costs and allow her to not worry about these financial burdens. She needs to have the least amount of stress to focus on healing.
