Amber's campaign for THE DANIEL BAIRD FOUNDATION

I am running in the Virgin London Marathon 2020,


It is my 1st Marathon and I cannot wait!! I am raising as much money as possible for two amazing charities. I really hope that you will join me in supporting them.

Due to some technical difficulties with the marathon fundraising site, I have had to run two fundraising pages. This page sends funds directly to the Daniel Baird Foundation. I know you will support me to help this amazing charity.

I am running for the Daniel Baird Foundation in memory of my Nephew Connor.

The Daniel Baird foundation and Air Ambulance are working closely together to provide training in schools and provide bleed control packs to as many public facilities as possible, free of charge.

The Daniel Baird foundation aims to raise awareness of knife and violent crime and the importance of having publicly accessible bleeding control packs available. The foundation is working closely with local government organisations, community groups and business organisations to get these vital bleed control kits into as many venues as possible. The foundation also campaigns for First Aid Training to incorporate catastrophic bleeding control as a mandatory element of the training. Additionally, they continue to campaign to have Advanced First Aid in the curriculum of all educational establishments.
