Amber Burakowski, age 32, of Newport NC died suddenly on Friday July 24th, 2015 while on a family vacation in Disney World, Fl.
Amber was born in Plattsburgh NY December 27th, 1982. She graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 2001.
Although her greatest love of all was her daughter Lydia, Nothing was more important to Amber than her love for her family, friends, and animals. She worked several years in the family business at Video World, she also worked several years as a Dog Groomer and Cake Maker. She always had kind words for everyone, was a good friend and great listener. She never refused and was often the first to help anybody or anything in need. Amber liked to watch Movies, writing, and had a passion for listening to music, especially Coheed and Cambria.
Amber is survived by her daughter Lydia Pekrul of Plattsburgh. Her parents Suzie Wamsganz and her campanion John Vesco of Newport NC. Her father Steven Burakowski and his companion Gladys Serrano of Jacksonville FL. Her favorite Sister, Deanna Burakowski of Hubert NC. Her beloved Nephew Landen Burakowski-Palase. Her Grandmother's Eleanor Stearns, Karen Stearns of Saranac Lake, and Carolyn Burakowski of Plattsburgh, NY. Her favorite Aunts; Mindy and George Smith, Te and John Jay, Kay and Richard Russell, Ann and James DeRose, and Julie and Joe Smith. Her Uncles; Joe Burakowski, George Burakowski, Tom Burakowski, Eric and Lori Wamsganz, Daniel Wamsganz, Mike and Saima Wamsganz. Her Many Cousins whom she loved dearly each and every one. Her beloved Service Dog, Lady. She was predeceased by her infant Daughter, Cambria Jace Pekrul
Calling hours will take place Thursday, July 30th from 5 pm to 8pm. A funeral service will take place at 10am on Friday July 31st at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home.
