Amber's Kick Cancer's Ass Fund

My name is Amy and I'm putting together a fundraiser to help my dear friend, Amber Schmidt, who has been diagnosed with Colon Cancer. There are still a lot of unanswered questions and we are awaiting more news of prognosis. In the meantime, Amber has already incurred medical expenses that are putting stress on her.

Amber has been a great friend of mine for over 13 years. She started in the back row of my Zumba class in 2010 and I have watched her blossom over the years. Amber became more confident and worked her way to the front. (I still have her cone she made to hold her spont in the front). She spent many years helping me with checking people in at the front desk and being the "bouncer" at the fitness parties we hosted. Amber attained her Zumba Instructor liscensing and attended the Zumba Instructor Convention and Zumba Cruise with me. After those experiences I watched her quickly start to come out of her shell. She started to work really hard on her health and lost 50 pounds. She started to believe in herself and to follow her dreams and make personal goals.

Amber has moved to the very front and now and is a Rock out Rock Star, as a Pound Fitness instructor. She runs her own classes that she is very dedicated to and works very hard at. She is one of the most passionate, caring, and loyal people I know.

She is always helping others, including myself, exponentially. She consistently thinks of others before herself. She has a heart of gold and is also a very determined person. That's how I know she's gonna Kick Cancer's Ass!

The amount of this fund may change, as we learn more about her needs. Any anount helps and please share this on your page or with others. I also will be hosting a fitness event, so keep your eyes peeled for that and message me if you would like to participate: instructors, registration staff, set up, breakdown, DJ, vendors, silent auction items, refteshments/snacks, lmk! Amber has helped me in more ways than I can count and I want to help her when she needs it the most.
