*****UPDATE #2 8/3/2023 from Amber and her family:
First of all, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of the prayers, love, meals, visits, monetary gifts and support. We are SO blessed to have you all as our tribe and village.
Samantha is back in Arizona with her broken collar bone and is still not cleared for work but is healing one day at a time, and her lung is good! Praise God!
Amber is still not able to walk and is in a lot of pain. She has a total of 14 broken bones including her back, pelvis, hip and ribs. Please continue to pray for all of the family as they are now dealing with the mental and emotional and legal side of the horrific accident as well as the large financial burden.
Please know that without your love and prayers, this would be a much larger task to navigate and the ENTIRE family is forever thankful for your love and support!
****AN UPDATE #1 from Amber’s family: “Amber is being loaded in an ambulance and taken to the airport to be medically evacuated to San Diego from Cabo today Sunday at 4:00 pm. A surgeon at Sharp Memorial is waiting to perform surgery on Amber's broken pelvis tonight. Amber’s mom Debbie will be traveling with her home.
****Original post: Hi everyone, I’m fundraising to help Amber’s family with her medical bills and to help her get home. For those of you who don’t know, Amber and her family were in a car accident in Cabo San Lucas 7/6. Amber and Sam are currently still in the hospital and we are in the process of arranging a medical evacuation to bring them back home. International medical transportation is very expensive and not covered by insurance. Medical care in Mexico has to be paid in cash and is very expensive and as you know, Amber is a single mom! Thank you for your support and please share this with everyone who loves Amber as much as we do.
Samantha has been discharged but must recuperate until Thursday to be able to get on the pressurized plane.
Thank you all for your prayers, support, and continuing friendship. These gifts you are giving Amber are overwhelming to us. We see you and we love you...”
