AMBULANCE FOR IMLIL MOROCCO

20 YEARS AGO, IN MARCH 2004, WHEN I WAS 50 YEARS, OLD I CYCLED FROM EAGLES NEST IN LOZERE IN SOUTHERN FRANCE TO KASBAH DU TOUBKAL IN IMLIL IN MOROCCO’S HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS, CIRCA 1,000 KMS, TO HELP RAISE FUNDS TO BUILD A VILLAGE HAMMAM. IF I COULD STILL CYCLE I SAID I MIGHT TRY A REPEAT WHEN I AM 70 YEARS OLD. WELL I AM IN MY 70TH YEAR, IMLIL NEEDS A NEW AMBULANCE, SO WHY NOT?

14 April 2024 I am pleased to say I finished the ride with the great support of Rachid in the support vehicle and arrived in Imlil on 5th April. I am very grateful to all the support this appeal has achieved and I also have great news that Kasbah Tamadot and the Eve Branson Foundation will co fund this ambulance. So thanks to everyone's support we are very close to being able to secure a new ambulance for the communities of the Imlil valley and surrounding areas. A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE.
