AMDA is Calling

Hello, my name is Joshua Pitts. I am 23 years old and I am dancer from Houston, Texas. I have been accepted into the dance theatre conservatory program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). This is a total dream come true!

Dance is my absolute passion and there’s nothing I’d rather do. But it does come at a cost. I need help to be able to fund my move to New York. I have been privileged to have a great support system in my mother but we are not able to fund this ourselves. She is a single mother and sole contributor in our household. My mother works so hard to provide for me but the tuition is not feasible on our own.

Through your donation it'll help me pay for my tuition, purchase things for my dorm and dance equipment, as well as funds to live while I'm there (food and transportation). I thank you in advance for your donation and if you are unable to donate please share.
