It is with deep sadness we inform you of the passing of Ameer Hamza Bajwa.
Ameer was in his final year of medical studies in Hungary when he tragically passed away last week.
He is the eldest son Dr Maqsood Ahmed Bajwa - who is a pivotal member of the Anaesthetics Department here in Sligo University Hospital, and has been for many years - a reliable colleague and a great friend.
We hope to help Bajwa and his family through this difficult time - to add to their grief there will also be an onerous financial burden involved. We thank everyone for their contribution - no matter how big or small.
