Checkers Elite Squad

Checkers elite squad have been invited to the opportunity of a life time, they have been invited to compete in Dubai’s international acro gymnastics championship 2025.

As you may understand this comes at a huge cost to their families.

Amelia and Darcie have been selected as a partnership to compete in Dubai and are going to complete a 5k beach run to support their fund raising tasks. They will be completing this on September 21st on Weston super Mare beach. They would welcome any sponsorship.

As well as doing their own fundraising event the girls are also helping with in house fundraising one example of this is to make and sell sweet cones and bags, as well as the selling of raffle tickets etc. Along obviously with continuing their tough training 4 days a week.

Checkers is a family run business which was established in 1982, over the years they have trained our young gymnasts to be able to compete and qualify in the English championships for acro gymnastics and tumbling.

This club gives everything they have to give our children the very best of opportunities. We would love to see this hard work pay off for everyone involved in Checkers by helping give them this amazing opportunity.
