Please help Amelia in her Water Polo journey

We are fundraising for Amelia to help support the financial demands of her day to day training, travel, competing in national age group and ladies competitions throughout the UK alongside national training camps and international camps/competitions when representing Great Britain under 17s Water Polo squad.

Amelia has been playing water polo since the age of 12 when she was first introduced to the sport at SBSJ Catholic College, Bradford. Since starting, Amelia has represented

SBSJ in the English Schools competition (ESSA’s),

City of Manchester in British Waterpolo National Ladies League and various national age group competitions as well as representing the North East at inter regionals…crowned Champions in their most recent competition!

Amelia has spent time in Hungary representing English Schools. In addition, she has also represented Great Britain in the EU nations in Brno in May 2022 as well as time training in Barcelona and Holland with her Great Britain Squad. This is all in preparation for the under 17’s European Championships which are to be held in Turkey in July/August 2023.

Amelia is very committed, driven and focused with her academic side but also water polo and her desire to succeed is astonishing. She strives to push herself to be the best she can!

Representing Great Britain has already been an amazing experience and reward for all her hard work and hopefully she will be representing Great Britain for many years to come.

Amelia’s water polo journey is all self funded so any donations would be greatly appreciated to help with all the costs involved in playing the sport she loves and enable her to progress further.
