Amelia is Going In For Surgery!

Hi friends!

My name is Amelia, and I am a full time teacher, community organizer, and transgender. For my upcoming birthday, I am trying to get my deductible and bills covered while I go into surgery for bottom surgery. (Best birthday present ever :D)

Hard facts, teachers don't get paid over the summer. And because I am not teaching summer school this year because my surgery will be in the summer, I won't have any income hitting me. My surgeon recommends that I don't work for a few weeks following the surgery and then take it easy following that.

So! I am trying to start early and get my deductible and bills covered. I appreciate any and all help that anyone can give during this time!
