Amelia Jernejcic

On March 5th Amelia Jernejcic was involved in a serious car accident that almost took her life. After weeks in the hospital, surgeries to repair her broken ankle and foot, facial surgery for her broken nose and eye socket, and 2 bowel reconstruction surgeries, her road to recovery is really only just beginning. Amelia is finally home with her parents where she is slowly regaining her independence and facing new challenges like learning to walk again.

Everyone who knows Amelia can attest to her strength and she has been pushing through this with perseverance and such a positive outlook.

Amelia had just started a new job at the time of the accident, which left her in between health care coverage. Unfortunately this leaves her financially responsible for the entirety of her medical bills, at home medical devices and physical therapy. Because of the severity of her injuries she has been and will continue to be out of work. We want Amelia to be able focus all of her energy on healing right now. Our hope is that taking away as much of the financial burden as possible with help her do this.
