Amelia Watson

I'm reaching out to you because we’ve finally started a GoFundMe for a very good friend, Amelia Watson, who is moving to Uganda, Africa to teach science, physics and biology. She has always loved working with children. This July, God led her to go on a mission trip to a small town in Jordan. Part of that time was spent ministering to the refugee children from the Syrian Civil War.  Her love of children and teaching is incredible. She has a wonderfully sweet personality that lends to forming great relationships with them.

She has completed her training and is eager to get started.

The reason for this GoFundMe account is to raise money for dental work she must have done before moving in January of 2020. Her fear of dentists and lack of funds has prevented her from getting this work done. Through a lot of support and persuasion we have convinced her that she must get this done.  Amelia has now begun the treatments required and my wife and I are covering the bill so far…However the total cost is over $11,000. We cannot begin to handle that amount.

I am hoping to raise the full amount as soon as possible so she can complete the treatments by January.
