Amelia’s Ebstein Anomaly Surgery and Recovery

Hi! I’m Amelia and I was born premature with Ebstein Anomaly. Ebstein Anomaly is a rare congenital heart defect that affects the tricuspid valve, which is the valve that separates the right atrium from the right ventricle.

I have a very long road ahead of me, with the first obstacle being making it the next 2 weeks until I’m big enough to possibly have surgery.

I will need CICU care a minimum of the next few months and surgical intervention. I’m in the best hands at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh but it’s over 4 hours from home for my Mommy & Daddy (Trisha & Jeffry) and I know it’ll be very hard for them.

They don’t make better people than my parents. They’d give the shirt off their back for a stranger. I know they’d never ask for fundraiser or approve it this, but I know they’re going to need all the help they can get. Thank you and please keep me in your prayers.
