Amelia's Emergency Vet Bills

Matt and I adopted Amelia from an abandoned litter 1 year ago. Becoming a little sister to Elmo, she's the most precious and well-behaved cat we've ever had. She loves to fetch for crinkle-balls and chase her big brother up and down the stairs.
Recently, Amelia developed a lack of appetite and began vomiting abnormally. Licking her lips constantly, we saw this as a sign of nausea. We rushed her to the ER in a panic where the doctor gave her an x-ray and ultrasound. While the results were inconclusive, Amelia was sent back home with an anti-nausea injection. Over 24 hours later, Amelia continued to not eat any food, vomit, and barely drink water to sustain herself.
After both of us lost our jobs this year and had to find new ones, it hurts to not get the care we need for our little girl. With our rent increasing by 37%, these emergency bills are something we can't afford. Every cent helps keep our small family together.
