American Legion Post 188 Sandwich MA

The American Legion is a non-profit veteran organization that is in its 101st year. Because of the virus shutdown, Clark Haddad Post 188 in Sandwich is in danger of closing its doors because of financial debt. Post 188 is dedicated to helping veterans and the community. Post 188 provides scholarships to high school seniors, sponsors many students to attend Boys State and Girls State, and its Honor Guard offers families free funeral services for departed veterans. Since the Post will be functionally shut down for an undetermined time, we cannot meet our outstanding debts from March till today. We realize that many people may be in financial straits, but we are asking the community to donate whatever it can so that our veteran Post can survive. Thank you
