American Legion Post 225

Donation protected
American Legion Post 225 has been closed since March 17th due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  As a result, our incoming revenue stream has been reduced to zero. Though closed, there are still expenses that we need to cover such as utilities and insurance. Maintaining those expenses during this shut-down has depleted the cash reserves we had built up and things are beginning to look dire.

Although we plan on re-opening for members as soon as permitted, the remaining social distancing restrictions and the prohibition of gatherings of more than 10 people, our primary source of operating revenue (function hall rentals / food and beverage sales) will be nonexistent for the foreseeable future. As a result, we are asking for your assistance. No amount is too small.

Post 225 was founded October 1920 and has called it home since June of 1953 in the historic Wampum School House (circa 1850) and has been an active member of the community supporting not only veterans and their families, scouting programs and the community as a whole.

Without your generous financial support, Post 225 may not see its 100 anniversary in October of this year.

Please don’t let this happen. We thank you for your help and consideration.
