American Legion Post 289
Don protégé
Unfortunately, a few reckless individuals broke into our American Legion Post 289 this weekend and took many of our tools and materials. This unlawful and disrespectful action has caused a major setback to a team of great volunteers that have been working hard to remodel some much-needed renovations. The Covid19 shutdown has impacted us all and this incident has taken the struggles to another level of hardship. We appreciate those that have given your time, donations and other support and thank those that can help now and in the future. As Veterans, we will not be defeated. Your contributions help us to survive.
Your donations will help us to replace the materials and tools that were stolen as well as the many pieces of history, military tributes and special items that were a part of our Post. We are going to press-on for the anticipated opening date and celebration on Veteran's Day and your support can help make it happen.
