American WildBurger Fire Damage Repair
Donation protected
On March 31st while in the process of repairing leaks on our roof, the roofers we hired accidentally started a fire on the roof. The Des Plaines Fire Department was quick to respond, but there was still significant damage caused to the roof and the inner structure of the facade. Firefighters had to rip open the ceiling and spray water from the inside to put out burning embers leaving damage on the inside of the building as well as the roof. We intend on working with the insurance company, but that could be a long process.
A few people who saw the fire or the damage it left behind have reached out to see if they can help with a donation. Normally we have a tough time accepting help, but this time we may really need it to get repairs started on our dinning room and get back to normal. Our family appreciates any help no matter how small, we know it's been a rough year for all.
A big thank you to the Fire Department. If they had not responded so quickly, our family could have lost everything.
